Job Summary
The DRK-Kreisverband Östliche Altmark e.V. is seeking an IT Specialist to join their Kreisgeschäftsstelle in Stendal. This full-time, permanent role involves ensuring IT security, monitoring networks and devices, performing data backups, and managing user access. You will be responsible for installing firewalls, VPN software, and security updates, as well as configuring hardware and software, setting up PCs, laptops, smartphones, printers, and scanners. The position also includes user management, onboarding/offboarding IT users, and providing on-site and remote user support, including troubleshooting and guidance on hardware/software issues. This is an attractive opportunity to work within a large employer in the Stendal district, supporting various care and youth welfare facilities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support or a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of network, server, and IT infrastructures required
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Exchange Server, Windows Domain, Hyper-V, Windows 11, and Mobile Device Management is advantageous
- Technical understanding and logical thinking
- Responsible and independent work ethic
- Structured and organized approach
- Good communication skills
- Team and critical thinking ability
- Willingness for further training and development
- Possess a driver's license
