Join DENIC, the leading registry for .de domains, as a Data System Engineer focusing on DevOps and Platform Operations. You will be responsible for the stable operation, administration, and continuous development of our Big Data and BI platforms. This includes designing and maintaining data models and ETL/ELT processes, developing scalable backends for dashboards and data products, and integrating AI components. You will also administer our BI tool landscape, collaborate with analysts, and conduct proof-of-concept analyses for new technologies. The role offers extensive home office options, flexible working hours, and continuous professional development within an agile team. We seek individuals with strong programming skills in Go and Python, CI/CD pipeline experience, and expertise in databases, data pipelines, data modeling, Linux, Kubernetes, and BI tools.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Business Informatics, or an equivalent qualification.

- Professional experience in operating, administering, and developing Big Data and BI platforms
- Experience in designing and maintaining data models and ETL/ELT processes
- Experience developing scalable backends for dashboards and data products
- Experience integrating and operating AI components
- Experience administering BI tool landscapes
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in database environments (SQL and/or NoSQL)
- Experience in operating data pipelines
