Job Summary
The Elisabeth Foundation of the German Red Cross (DRK) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead their organization, which employs over 900 people and focuses on improving life quality through healthcare, education, and employment services. The CEO will be responsible for the strategic direction and overall management of the foundation, working alongside the Commercial Director. Key duties include representing the foundation externally, ensuring resource availability, developing organizational concepts, and preparing reports for the board. This is a senior leadership role offering a meaningful and challenging management opportunity with significant responsibility and a commensurate salary, within a supportive environment that encourages innovation and initiative.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (e.g., in Business Administration, Social Economics, Law)
Experience
- Long-term experience in the management of complex social welfare organizations
- Experience in leadership roles with high responsibility
- Experience in representing an organization in networks, with ministries, rehabilitation providers, companies, associations, and politics
- Experience in creating decision and information papers for a supervisory board
