Job Summary
As a Network Operations Coordinator for Low Voltage and 1 kV Systems, you will ensure the technical safety, economic efficiency, and demand-driven configuration of the 1 kV grid. This includes managing hazard prevention, operational resource security, and supply reliability, as well as overseeing statutory function tests for renewable energy systems. You will plan and coordinate complex switching operations and grid scenarios, particularly for operational and shutdown planning, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Your responsibilities extend to approving switching requests, independently implementing redispatch processes, evaluating grid states and bottleneck forecasts, and deriving measures for grid expansion and development. In cases of major grid disturbances or prolonged supply interruptions, you will coordinate fault and hazard mitigation, analyze causes, and prepare reports for various stakeholders.
Required Skills
Education
Completed Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a further qualification as a Master/Technician in Electrical Engineering or Utility Engineering with corresponding professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of practical experience in network operations, network management, or energy supply.
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, or as a qualified master/technician in electrical or utility engineering with relevant experience.
- Experience working with IT systems for grid operations, including technical operations management systems, network information systems, and control technology applications.
- Experience in evaluating network situations and making decisions.
