You will be involved in the design and conceptualization of optical components and systems, adapting and optimizing existing designs, and performing simulations and analyses. The role requires evaluating customer requirements, assisting with technical specifications, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, customers, and suppliers. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Physics or Engineering with a focus on Optics, expertise in imaging, aberration theory, and wave optics, and experience with optical simulation software like Zemax/OpticStudio and programming skills in Python. Strong teamwork, communication, and C1 level German and English proficiency are essential.
