Job Summary

Join Regionetz GmbH in Aachen as a Smart Metering Expert to manage and advance gateway administration and Meter Data Management (MDM) for intelligent metering systems. You will be instrumental in introducing and establishing CLS (Controllable Local Systems) management for controlling power generators and loads, including defining system requirements. This role involves analyzing regulatory mandates, translating them into requirements for metering operations across organization, processes, and IT systems. You will coordinate system adjustments and interfaces with internal teams, IT service providers, and software manufacturers, while also documenting, analyzing, and improving smart meter processes. The position offers a chance to lead cross-functional projects, develop KPIs, and oversee IT and process service providers. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Business Informatics, Energy Economics, or a related field, with a strong understanding of digital, data-driven processes and their IT implications.
