Job Summary
This role at the Technical University of Dresden (TUD), specifically within the Institute for Electrical Power Systems and High Voltage Technology, focuses on insulation coordination in DC voltage systems up to 3 kV. You will conduct literature reviews, plan and execute experiments to determine dielectric properties and long-term behavior of insulating materials, and develop multiphysical calculation models. The position offers the opportunity for independent scientific further qualification, typically a doctorate. Ideal candidates possess a scientific university degree (Diplom, Master) in electrical power engineering or related fields, strong knowledge of Finite Element Method (FEM) calculation programs, and excellent German and English language skills.
