Job Summary

As a Product Manager for Configuration Management, you will be responsible for the structured control and further development of product configurations, as well as effective obsolescence management. This role offers a challenging professional perspective in a technically demanding and dynamic environment within the defense industry. You will ensure consistent product configurations, manage long-term product availability through obsolescence management, coordinate obsolescence resolution across various technical domains (mechanics, electrical, electronics, software), and plan product evolutions. You will collaborate closely with project managers, support product management in requirements and documentation, and ensure structured product information. Key requirements include an engineering degree, at least 3 years of experience in configuration or obsolescence management, knowledge of relevant standards like DIN ISO 100007:2017, and proficiency with tools such as Confluence, JIRA, MS Office, and SAP.
