Job Summary
This role focuses on managing and advancing the Information Security Management System (ISMS), including policies, standards, and processes. You will be responsible for identifying and assessing security risks, implementing mitigation measures, and collaborating with the Security Operations Center (SOC) on vulnerability assessments and remediation. The position involves preparing for and supporting external audits (e.g., TISAX), conducting risk analyses, and developing security awareness programs. You will also evaluate suppliers and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in information security, IT, or related fields, with proven experience in ISMS, IT security, or GRC, and familiarity with standards like ISO 27001. Excellent German and English communication skills are essential for this dynamic role within an international research center.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Information Security, IT, Business Informatics, Compliance with IT relevance, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Information Security, ISMS, IT-Security, or Governance, Risk and Compliance.
- Experience in independently conducting internal audits.
- Knowledge of risk management, security awareness, vulnerability management, and incident response.
