We are seeking a Service Technician specializing in switchgear for a client in the mechanical engineering sector. This field service role involves performing maintenance and repair on high and medium voltage switchgear, including gas and oil-insulated GIS systems. You will be responsible for ensuring environmental regulations are met and for creating and updating documentation according to safety processes. The position is full-time, based in Dortmund, with nationwide travel required. This opportunity offers an attractive hourly wage starting from €22 gross, a long-term contract, and benefits like up to 30 days of vacation and employee discounts. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training as an electrician, mechatronics technician, or equivalent.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in switchgear (desirable)
- Professional experience in maintenance and repair of electrical systems
- Experience with high and medium voltage switchgear
- Experience with gas and oil-insulated GIS systems
- Experience in creating and updating technical documentation
