IT Systems Specialist | IT System Spezialist (m/w/d)

Job Summary

We are seeking an IT Systems Specialist to join our team in Kiel. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and integrating complex IT systems and network architectures for naval vessels. You will technically support hardware/software development projects, derive system requirements, and review technical specifications from suppliers. Your duties will also include active participation in system certifications, managing suppliers, and overseeing onboard commissioning. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or scientific degree (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering), strong knowledge of network topologies, server/cloud infrastructures, virtualization, and IT security. Experience with MBSE, Software Defined Networking, and ideally in naval environments or complex technical systems is required. Good English skills and willingness to travel are also necessary.
