Job Summary
Hinterkopf GmbH is seeking a Technical Computer Scientist/Software Engineer specializing in digital printing for cylindrical objects. This role involves developing efficient algorithms for optimizing print workflows, creating tools for compensating print deviations using computer vision, and building AI-driven image processing solutions for pre-press and production. You will also integrate and administer Generative AI into business processes and develop control software for digital printing machines. The position requires a degree in technical computer science, mechatronics, or automation technology, with desirable experience in image processing, computer vision, AI algorithms (Deep Learning with PyTorch), Generative AI models, containerization (Docker), and network protocols. Required Skills
Education
Degree in technical computer science, mechatronics, automation technology, or a comparable field of study
Experience
- Experience in image processing / computer vision desirable
- Experience in the development and application of AI algorithms in image processing using Deep Learning Frameworks (PyTorch)
- Experience in setting up and using Open Source Generative AI models (OpenWebUI, Ilama,...) and containerization (Docker)
- Experience in common network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, OPC UA, ...)
- Interest in digital printing and mechanical engineering
