Job Summary
Join a leading manufacturer of grinding and sharpening machines as an IT System Administrator in Pforzheim. You will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and further development of our complex IT infrastructure, including administering Windows and Linux servers, and installing/configuring hardware and software. You will also manage, monitor, and maintain SQL databases. The ideal candidate has a technical degree or completed vocational training as an IT specialist with professional experience, and several years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory. Experience with Windows/Linux servers, relational databases (MSSQL/Firebird), and SQL is required. Knowledge of VMWare vSphere, Veeam, Zabbix, Baramundi, or AvERP is a plus. Education
Technical degree, completed vocational training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with professional experience, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory (including domain services like DNS, DHCP, DFS, CA)
- Experience in the implementation and maintenance of Windows/Linux Servers
- Good knowledge of relational databases (MSSQL / Firebird) and the database language SQL is advantageous
- Experience in some of the following areas: VMWare vSphere, Veeam, Zabbix, Baramundi, AvERP
