Job Summary

Join a leading engineering service provider as a Functional Developer for Driver Assistance Systems, focusing on Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of the ACC function, from concept to SOP, including defining functional scope, performance targets, and conducting tests on test benches, vehicles, and HiL systems. This role requires close collaboration with developers, architects, and clients. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in electrical, automotive, or mechatronics engineering, with initial experience in driver assistance systems. Strong communication skills and a structured approach to project management are essential, alongside very good German and English language proficiency.

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or comparable field

Experience

  • Initial experience with driver assistance systems (ideally ACC/longitudinal control)
  • Professional experience in functional development
  • Experience in test bench, vehicle, or HiL testing
  • Experience in requirements engineering and validation
  • Experience in project management
