Job Summary

Join Airbus Defence and Space as a Systems Designer for Flight Control Systems in Manching. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and designing the Flight Control System architecture, managing redundancy, identifying failures, and defining L2/L3 requirements and validation. You will also support interface definitions, ensure requirement traceability, and assist with system testing. The ideal candidate possesses a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering, with several years of experience in Systems Engineering and Requirements Definition. Experience in Flight Control/Flight Management Systems and as a Software Engineer at the design/architecture level is highly desirable. Proficiency in Python and DOORS is mandatory, with knowledge of C++, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo, and SCADE being advantageous.
