Job Summary

This role as an AI Expert is based in Bonn and involves scientific analysis and technical review of applications for research funding. You will assess applications, document decisions, issue certificates, and handle appeals. A key part of the job is staying updated on scientific and technical advancements relevant to the assessment process and preparing this information for practical use. You will also contribute to the development of web and AI applications by analyzing needs, formulating requirements, testing new features, and actively participating in their evolution. The position requires a scientific university degree in natural sciences, engineering, or computer science with an AI focus, along with practical experience in developing and operating large AI language models and web/database systems. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, as is fluent German.
