Job Summary

This role involves conducting licensing and notification procedures, working with legal texts and guidelines, and performing radiation protection supervision both in the office and in the field. You will also advise applicants and license holders, contributing to the protection of employees, patients, the public, and the environment. The position requires a science or engineering degree (Environmental Engineering, Medical Physics, Physics, Chemistry, or similar) and an interest in radiation protection and regulatory oversight. While not strictly mandatory, experience in administrative or regulatory supervision and specific radiation protection knowledge (e.g., from a course) is advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates, offering a supportive onboarding process and the potential for home office work after an initial period.

Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific-technical university degree (Dipl.-Ing. FH or Bachelor) in Environmental Engineering, Medical Physics, Physics, Chemistry, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in administrative or regulatory supervision is desirable.
  • Experience or knowledge in radiation protection concerning radioactive substances is ideal, potentially gained through a radiation protection course.
  • Professional experience in a science or engineering field relevant to the role.
