Job Summary
Join Riedel Filtertechnik GmbH as a PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer and contribute to the automation, commissioning, and optimization of advanced filter and dust removal systems. This role involves creating and modifying PLC programs, primarily using Siemens TIA Portal and occasionally Beckhoff TwinCAT, as well as developing HMI visualizations with WinCC. You will also be involved in software testing, troubleshooting, and supporting pre-commissioning activities. A key aspect of the role includes planning and executing commissioning and service assignments for customers both domestically and internationally, requiring travel. Required Skills
Education
Completed apprenticeship in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, ideally with further training as a Technician/Master Craftsman, or a degree in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and WinCC
- Willingness to travel for commissioning and service assignments
- Basic understanding of electrical schematics, sensorics, and actuatorics
