Job Summary
Join Fraport AG, a leading airport business company, as a Geodata Manager at Frankfurt Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise documentation and visualization of airport infrastructure and utility networks through effective geodata management. You will analyze, prepare, and continuously maintain geodata using modern GIS tools, and manage, migrate, and evolve geo-databases that support key business processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the digitalization of mobility, focusing on sustainable, innovative, and digital solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a scientific or university degree in Geoinformatics or Surveying, strong IT skills with GIS expertise, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed scientific or university degree in Geoinformatics, Surveying, or a comparable field. Completed vocational training, preferably as a Gardener and Landscape Gardener or Farmer.
Experience
- Professional experience in Geodata Management
- Professional experience in Green Area Management
- Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Experience with OGC Standards and Interfaces
- Experience in managing and migrating geo-databases
- Experience in data modeling and preparation
Languages
Additional
- Class B driver's license and willingness to obtain Class C driver's license, apron and taxiway driver's license. Willingness for shift and winter shift service. Ability to express oneself well verbally and in writing.
