Job Summary
The Catholic Church Association in the Recklinghausen Deanery is seeking an Administrative Officer (m/f/d) for the St. Francis Catholic Parish in Marl. This full-time, permanent position involves organizing and coordinating administrative processes between the central administration and parish decision-makers, providing on-site administrative support, and relieving the lead pastor of administrative duties. The role requires active participation in and preparation for parish board meetings, ensuring the implementation of decisions, and representing the parish to authorities. The ideal candidate will possess qualifications for higher-level non-technical administrative service, a business administration background, or equivalent, strong IT skills (MS Office), and ideally, knowledge of church or public service administration, particularly in personnel, finance, construction, and property management. This role offers a chance to work independently within a supportive environment, contributing to the financial, property, and personnel management of 18 Catholic parishes.
Required Skills
Education
Qualification for higher-level non-technical administrative service, completion of employee training course/administrative training course II, a commercial apprenticeship, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in administrative services or a comparable field
- Experience in coordinating administrative processes
- Experience in supporting decision-making bodies
- Experience in personnel, finance, construction, or property management is desirable
- Experience with MS Office products
