Job Summary
We are seeking a Hardware Development Engineer for an 18-month contract with the potential for extension, based in Berlin with a hybrid remote option after onboarding. This full-time role involves the development of electronic assemblies for industrial hardware, including analog/digital circuits, interfaces, FPGAs, and processors. You will be responsible for commissioning, lab testing, ensuring robust hardware solutions for longevity, reliability, and EMC, and analyzing/optimizing existing products. Collaboration with production, maintenance, and international sites is key, as is the application of development, simulation, and testing tools. The ideal candidate possesses several years of hardware development experience, knowledge of industrial communication systems, FPGAs, embedded systems, analog technology, EMC-compliant design, and environmental/robustness testing.
