Job Summary

The University Hospital Düsseldorf (UKD) is seeking a Building Systems Technician specializing in fire alarm systems to join their Building and Technology Department. In this role, you will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all fire alarm systems across the hospital campus. Your day-to-day tasks will include operating and monitoring fire alarm control panels, investigating and resolving false alarms, coordinating with service partners and internal teams for repairs, organizing maintenance schedules, and managing work orders and documentation within SAP-PM. You will also be involved in creating cost estimates, controlling expenses, and participating in on-call duty. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Energy/Building Technology, Communications Technology, Automation Technology) or a state-certified technician/master electrician with relevant experience in fire alarm systems. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and good communication are essential.
