Job Summary

Join Freiburger Verkehrs AG in the Public Transport sector as a Project and Data Manager focused on Energy and Climate Protection. You will play a key role in developing and establishing climate protection management, including creating climate protection concepts, collecting data, and managing greenhouse gas accounting (Scope 1-3). Your responsibilities will extend to developing and implementing renewable energy strategies, conceptualizing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and building a strategic monitoring platform for energy and climate indicators. You will analyze data, support business units in developing climate protection measures, and act as a central point of contact for climate and energy data. This role involves actively contributing to emission reduction and resource efficiency strategies, supporting grant applications, and engaging in relevant working groups and networks. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or Engineering, with relevant professional experience in data management, data analysis, and project coordination within climate protection, sustainability, or energy sectors. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and other data acquisition software is essential, alongside strong communication and networking skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed studies, preferably in Natural Sciences, Business Administration, or Engineering, or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in data management and data analysis
  • Experience in project coordination in the areas of climate protection, sustainability, or energy
  • Experience as an Energy Management Officer according to DIN EN ISO 50001 is a plus
  • Profound knowledge and practical experience in the qualified expansion of renewable energy use are advantageous
