Job Summary
Delta Controls is seeking a Service Technician specializing in Building Technology, TGA (Technical Building Equipment), MSR (Measurement, Control, and Regulation Technology), and HVAC maintenance and repair. In this role, you will perform maintenance, repair, and inspection work on building technical systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and cooling, as well as automation and MSR systems. You will be responsible for commissioning, functional testing, optimization, troubleshooting complex issues, and making minor programming and parameterization adjustments at client sites. The position also involves technical acceptance after construction/renovation, creating documentation, and contributing to energy efficiency improvements. This role is ideal for individuals with a background in electrical engineering, building technology, or TGA, and Delta Controls offers a comprehensive training program for career changers to become proficient in MSR and building automation.
Required Skills
Education
Completed apprenticeship in electrical engineering, building technology, or TGA (e.g., Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology, Automation Technology, Mechatronics Technician for Refrigeration Technology).
Experience
- Professional experience in building technology/HVAC/TGA is desirable but not a prerequisite due to the career changer program.
- Understanding of technical systems.
- Interest in MSR, SPS, or DDC systems.
- Independent and structured work approach.
- Willingness for nationwide deployments in metropolitan areas.
