Job Summary

Lindauer DORNIER GmbH is seeking a Senior PLC Software Engineer to join their team. This role involves the concept, development, and enhancement of complex PLC software for the control and drive functions of their film stretching lines. You will have overall technical responsibility for software sub-projects, coordinate with other departments, and conduct commissioning and troubleshooting at customer sites worldwide. The position also includes building and leading a small team, developing specifications, conducting in-house tests, and managing software projects from estimation to technical decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, extensive experience in PLC programming (ideally Siemens SIMATIC/TIA Portal), and strong knowledge of SCADA systems (WinCC) and industrial communication protocols.
