Job Summary
Join a motivated development team as a Designer (m/f/d) in Goslar, contributing to product development from concept to series production. You will be responsible for the independent development and design of lighting systems based on specifications, considering relevant standards and quality requirements. This includes developing custom lighting solutions, optimizing existing products, creating prototypes, and managing supplier processes. The role requires proficiency in 3D-CAD software (preferably Solid Edge), experience in designing mechanical assemblies with a focus on aluminum die-casting, extruded profiles, sheet metal, and turned/milled parts. Good English skills are also necessary. Required Skills
Education
State-certified technician (Design) or comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in development design
Experience
- Several years of experience in the design of mechanical assemblies and devices, ideally with electrical components
- Professional experience in development design
- Experience in designing aluminum die-cast parts, extruded profiles, sheet metal constructions, and turned/milled parts
- Experience with 3D-CAD software, preferably Solid Edge
- Experience in managing inquiry and release processes with external suppliers and partners
