The City of Bützow is seeking a Climate Protection Manager to develop and implement an integrated climate protection concept for the Bützow-Land office. This role involves coordinating and executing climate protection projects, securing and managing funding, monitoring initiatives, and engaging stakeholders from politics, administration, business, and the public. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, a proactive approach to new challenges, and the ability to work collaboratively. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Environmental Science, Energy, Climate Studies, Transformation Studies, Natural Sciences, Geography, Urban/Regional Planning, or Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in environmental, energy, climate, transformation studies, natural sciences, geography, urban/regional planning, or engineering.
- Experience in coordinating projects and stakeholders.
- Experience in acquiring and managing funding programs.
