Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Head of Department for Energy Supply to oversee operations within the industrial energy sector. This role involves managing existing projects, focusing on outdoor substations (110kV), switchgear buildings, and transformer stations, with project volumes ranging from €250K to €10M. You will be responsible for technical and commercial project execution, ensuring adherence to budget, quality, and deadlines. Key duties include supervising administrative processes, leading a team of approximately 25-30 employees (project management, planning, site management, and installation), and cultivating client relationships. The position is based in Kassel and offers an attractive, permanent employment contract with comprehensive benefits.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Engineering (preferably with a focus on electrical power engineering) OR completed electrical engineering apprenticeship with further training as a Master/Technician.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as a Project Manager in energy supply systems, building installation, or service.
- Ideally, leadership experience.
- Experience in managing projects with volumes from €250K to €10M.
- Experience with outdoor substations (110kV), switchgear buildings, and transformer stations.
- Experience in technical and commercial project execution.
- Experience in supervising administrative processes related to construction projects.
