Job Summary
We are seeking multiple Chemical and Biological Technical Assistants for a full-time role in the medical technology and high-tech industry in Berlin. This position involves working in a precision production and laboratory environment, contributing to the manufacturing and testing of high-tech optical components. Key responsibilities include operating and calibrating measurement systems, precise weighing of chemicals, documentation in SAP, handling production equipment like plasma furnaces and coating baths, and performing quality control tests on coated surfaces and intraocular lenses. The ideal candidate will have a completed vocational training as a Chemical or Biological Technical Assistant (e.g., BTA, CTA), initial practical experience with chemicals and recipes in a lab or production setting, strong accuracy, reliability, and a structured approach. Good PC skills (MS Office) and willingness to work in a two-shift system and cleanroom environment are essential. This role offers a competitive salary and comprehensive onboarding.

Completed vocational training, preferably in Chemical Technical Assistants (e.g., BTA, CTA)
Experience
- Initial practical experience in handling chemicals and recipes in a laboratory or production environment
- Experience with production equipment, specifically plasma furnaces and coating baths
- Experience with measurement and testing systems (e.g., dimensional systems, temperature sensors, scales)
- Experience with visual and microscopic assessment of coated surfaces
- Experience with quality testing of coatings
- Experience with optical measurements on intraocular lenses
