Job Summary
This role involves managing financial and budgetary matters for the Flood, Water Protection, and Agriculture department. You will be responsible for budget planning, fund management, year-end closing, and future double-entry bookkeeping. This includes preparing financial decision-making bases, monitoring budget impacts of committee decisions, and collaborating with controlling departments to analyze deviations and ensure budget adherence. The position requires a university degree (Bachelor or FH Diplom) in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, or a comparable qualification as a certified administrator or business administrator. Ideally, candidates will have knowledge of the state budget code and relevant administrative regulations, along with proficiency in SAP and MS Office. This is a full-time, fixed-term position until December 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension, offering flexible working hours and remote work options.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diplom FH) in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a comparable field; OR a comparable qualification as a certified administrator (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in) or certified business administrator (Verwaltungsbetriebswirt/in).
Experience
- Professional experience in finance/accounting required
- Ideally, knowledge of state budget regulations and administrative provisions
- Experience in financial and budgetary matters for specific departments
- Experience in budget planning, fund management, and year-end closing
