Join a dynamic research lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Neuroscience, contributing to a collaborative project within the "Extinction Learning" Collaborative Research Center (SFB 1280). You will analyze learning dynamics across behavioral, neural, and psychophysiological data, compare findings across different contexts, and develop algorithms and computational models. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experimentalists, advancing the understanding of learning and memory in humans and animals using diverse computational approaches. The position requires a doctorate in a relevant field, strong programming skills, and excellent English communication.

Doctorate degree in neuroscience, physics, mathematics, electrical/biomedical engineering or a closely related field

Experience

  • Doctorate degree in neuroscience, physics, mathematics, electrical/biomedical engineering or a closely related field
  • Relevant experience in mathematical modeling
  • Excellent programming skills (e.g., Python, C/C++, Matlab)
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to work well in a team
