Job Summary

The Kreis Weimarer Land is seeking a System Administrator to ensure the operational functionality of technical equipment within the Central Control Center. This role involves managing and updating data for the incident management system, maintaining hardware, telephone, and data lines, and performing detailed hardware and software troubleshooting. You will also administer workstations, database systems, and billing software, manage firewall and proxy configurations, and support user-specific program setups and access rights. A key responsibility includes contributing to IT security concepts and training dispatchers on software changes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with a proactive and responsible approach to work. Experience in emergency services or fire departments is desirable.

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or application development, IT system management, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience
