Job Summary
The City of Bernau bei Berlin is seeking a full-time, permanent Engineer specializing in Technical Building Equipment (TGA) within Building Management. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational safety of technical systems across approximately 150 municipal buildings, adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements. Your duties will include taking on operator responsibility for TGA, planning and overseeing major TGA repair projects, preparing tender documents, and managing contracts with external companies. You will also perform local construction supervision and drive the development of the energy management system, setting and implementing strategic goals for energy savings. The ideal candidate will possess a technical-university degree in TGA or a related field, knowledge of relevant regulations, and ideally, professional experience in building operations and maintenance, preferably within a municipal administration. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Technical-university degree in Technical Building Equipment (e.g., Building Services Engineering, Building Technology, Electrical Engineering) or a comparable degree.
Experience
