Job Summary
GAF AG, a leading provider of geoinformation solutions, seeks a Senior Angular Web Developer to join their team in Munich. In this role, you will be responsible for the conception and implementation of frontends for innovative web-based geoinformation systems (Web-GIS) and developing web-based solutions for domain-specific workflows, geodata management, and analysis. You will work in a cross-functional team, ensuring the quality of developed solutions, and maintaining, optimizing, and further developing existing applications. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent, significant project experience with Angular and TypeScript, strong HTML5 and CSS skills, and robust knowledge of web security. Fluency in both German and English (C1 level) is required. Experience
- Significant project experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Professional experience in web development
- Experience with web security concepts
- Experience with Angular Component Libraries (e.g., Angular Material)
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (or comparable container technologies)
- Experience in UI/UX design
- Experience with GIS technologies (e.g., OpenLayers, OGC Standards, GeoServer)
- Experience with IntelliJ IDEA and Git
- Experience with REST Web Services
- Basic Linux knowledge and command line experience
- Experience with Grafana

- Must possess a valid work permit for Germany. Willingness to work from abroad temporarily (Workation) is a plus, subject to individual and legal conditions. Role is based in Munich.
