Job Summary
Join the State Construction Office Munich 1 as an Electrical Engineering Project and Property Manager in Munich. You will be instrumental in shaping IT infrastructure and renovating historical buildings for the Free State of Bavaria. This role involves managing the construction of a modern data center and overseeing the comprehensive renovation of a state ministry, including upgrading electrical, communication, and security systems. You will also contribute to the expansion of a natural history museum. Your responsibilities will include technical groundwork, cost estimation, project management for high-quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery, supervising external construction management, reviewing designs, and participating in contract awards and settlements. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering (FH-Diplom / Bachelor) or comparable qualification (e.g., State Certified Construction Technician)
Experience
- Professional experience in planning offices and/or executing companies in the electrical engineering sector is desirable.
- Experience in representing the client, e.g., in technical support for state theaters, ministries, or police properties.
- Experience in technical groundwork and cost estimation for new construction projects.
- Experience in project management for construction measures.
- Experience in supervising and monitoring construction management by contractors.
- Experience in reviewing execution plans.
- Experience in contract award and processing of construction contracts.
- Experience in acceptance and settlement of construction and engineering services.
- Experience in coordination and collaboration within interdisciplinary project teams.
- Experience in negotiations with users and construction companies.
