Job Summary
The Municipality of Lindlar is seeking a Finance Administrator specializing in Accounting to cover a maternity and parental leave. This part-time (24 hours/week) role involves managing daily financial transactions for municipal companies, including accounts payable/receivable and VAT pre-audits. You will also be responsible for preparing statistics, assisting with annual financial statements, and supporting the management of the SFL GmbH with economic plan preparation. The ideal candidate will have a background in public administration or a comparable commercial apprenticeship, with proven expertise in finance, particularly accounts payable/receivable and accounting. Strong MS Office skills are essential, and knowledge of SAP FI, SAP PSCD, and SAP CO is advantageous. This is a temporary, fixed-term position starting August 1, 2026, offering a stable public service environment with opportunities for professional development and a modern, flexible work setting.
Required Skills
Education
Completed training as an administrative assistant (Verwaltungsfachangestellte) or completed administrative training course I (Verwaltungslehrgang I), or a comparable three-year commercial apprenticeship.
Experience
- Proven professional experience in finance, particularly in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting.
- Experience in preparing statistics for municipal companies.
- Experience in preparing annual financial statements.
- Experience supporting management with economic plan preparation.
