Job Summary
AXSOL GmbH is seeking an Electrical Engineer to focus on the detailed planning and implementation of innovative battery storage systems (BESS). You will be responsible for the electrical infrastructure design, including dimensioning components like cables, fuses, and switchgear, and creating technical documentation such as circuit diagrams. A key part of the role involves planning the medium-voltage grid connection, coordinating with grid operators and suppliers, and supporting the commissioning phase. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge energy solutions, integrate renewable energies, and enhance grid stability within a dynamic project environment. The role requires strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, grid connection, and relevant standards, along with good communication skills and a willingness to travel.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of experience in electrical plant construction, grid connection, or energy distribution
- Experience with cable sizing, protection coordination, and earthing concepts
- Experience with grid connection procedures with Distribution System Operators (DSOs)/Transmission System Operators (TSOs) is desirable
- Experience with batteries, inverters, and medium-voltage systems is advantageous
