Job Summary

Join the Element Analytics Lab team at the Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office (CVUA) Freiburg, a public service institution dedicated to consumer protection and animal health. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for receiving and managing incoming samples and results within a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Your daily tasks will involve preparing food samples for analysis, including homogenization and extraction, and conducting analyses of ready-to-measure solutions using techniques like Cold Vapor Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry (CV-AFS). You will also maintain laboratory measurement systems such as mercury analyzers and microwave digestion systems, and contribute to the development and validation of testing procedures.
