Job Summary
The Life Science Factory, an independent entity founded by Sartorius, is seeking a Biologist to support and manage operations within a state-of-the-art, 1300 m² shared laboratory space. This role involves assisting laboratory users with onboarding, service needs, and technical guidance, while also coordinating lab operations, services, and personnel. You will contribute to developing operational guidelines, maintaining safety documentation, and overseeing waste management and autoclaving services. The position requires a science degree or equivalent technical training, 1-2 years of lab experience, strong communication skills in English and German, and proficiency with MS Office. Required Skills
Education
Degree in a natural science discipline or completed vocational training as a laboratory technician (e.g., BTA or equivalent)
Experience
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a laboratory environment
- Experience in supporting and guiding laboratory users
- Experience in coordinating laboratory services and operations
- Experience with laboratory equipment setup and configuration
- Experience in managing or guiding laboratory service personnel
