Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Accountant to join modern tax firms and medium-sized companies in Halle (Saale). In this role, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, assisting with annual closing processes, and creating corporate and private tax returns. You will also handle tax assessments, communicate with tax authorities, and support business evaluations. The ideal candidate has completed training as a tax specialist, possesses professional experience in a tax firm or accounting department, and is proficient with DATEV. Knowledge of commercial and tax law is essential. This is a direct hire position offering an indefinite contract, a hybrid work model with home office options, 30 days of vacation, and opportunities for professional development. The annual salary ranges from €36,000 to €48,000, depending on experience.
