Join a leading Medical Imaging Center as a Microscopy Scientist, contributing to cutting-edge research in cell biology, immunology, and neurobiology. You will establish, apply, and support advanced light microscopy techniques, including super-resolution microscopy, and develop workflows for automated image acquisition and quantitative analysis. This role involves advising and training users, maintaining equipment, and managing data. The ideal candidate possesses a Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field, strong expertise in advanced light microscopy and quantitative image analysis, and excellent analytical and organizational skills. Education

Ph.D. in physics, biology, biochemistry, chemistry or equivalent qualification

Experience

  • Ph.D. in physics, biology, biochemistry, chemistry or equivalent qualification with strong expertise in light microscopy
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and optimize microscopy-based experiments using advanced light microscopy techniques
  • Experience in quantitative image analysis and data management, ideally including automated or machine learning-based segmentation approaches
  • Analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate collaborative projects
  • Ability to work in an international team
