Job Summary
Join a leading global laboratory group as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant/CTA specializing in Food Chemistry. In this role, you will support the timely evaluation, assessment, and release of analyses according to quality assurance guidelines. You will independently work on projects to optimize existing analytical methods, coordinate method validations, and ensure the operation and maintenance of various chromatography systems including GC and HPLC. Collaboration with lab colleagues, Quality Management, and customer support is key. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to making the world safer by ensuring the quality of food and other products.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Assistant or CTA (m/f/d), or a completed Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience
- Professional experience in gas and liquid chromatography, preferably in food analysis
- Experience working with quality assurance systems
- Ideally, initial experience with laboratory information systems (LIMS) and/or laboratory automation and/or programming
- Ideally, initial experience in the development, validation, and establishment of methods
