Job Summary
Join a leading digitalization partner for the German Armed Forces as a Senior IT Service Technician in Rheinbach. You will be the primary on-site IT contact for users, supporting central IT operations by managing incidents and requests across PC, telephony, LAN, and WAN systems, ensuring adherence to service levels and documenting all activities in the ticketing system. This role involves hands-on hardware tasks, project participation for IT infrastructure adjustments, performing DGUV V3 inspections, and contributing to quality assurance. After training, you will participate in on-call rotations for critical incident resolution. The position requires a strong IT background, customer focus, and excellent communication skills, offering a chance to contribute to Germany's security through vital digitalization efforts.
Required Skills
Education
Completed 3-year vocational training in the IT sector (e.g., IT System Electronics Technician) or equivalent qualification
Experience
- At least two years of professional experience in a relevant IT field
- Experience in IT system electronics or a comparable IT technical role
- Experience within the German Armed Forces environment is desirable
- Experience with IT operations and user support
