Job Summary

As a System Integrator for Infrastructure Core Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the secure and performant operation of the German Pension Insurance's joint data center in Berlin and Würzburg. Your daily tasks will involve actively shaping and executing team responsibilities across various infrastructure services, including File Service, Active Directory, DNS, NTP, monitoring, logging, load balancing, and endpoint security. You'll leverage modern IT and DevOps tools like Ansible, Git, Chocolaty, and Artifactory for automation, system operation, and security. This role requires independent planning, conceptualization, and documentation of IT operations, complex customer request handling, and implementing IT security and quality assurance measures. The ideal candidate is a service-oriented team player with a holistic technical approach, ready to contribute to cross-organizational projects and adapt to dynamic changes using agile methodologies. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Diploma/FH) in IT or comparable IT qualification, or vocational training in IT, or comparable practical experience in IT.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT, specifically in tasks corresponding to the requirements of the higher service level
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in the IT sector
  • Desirable: Current knowledge in data center basic infrastructure
  • Desirable: Knowledge in automation, network infrastructure, SAN, data backup, and/or current technologies and standards
  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties, early and late shifts, and planned weekend/after-hours work

Additional

  • Willingness to participate in on-call duties (via phone, SMS, messaging). Occasional business trips within Germany (approx. three times a year). Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a security clearance (SÜ) in accordance with § 9 of the Security Clearance Act (SÜG).
