Job Summary

Join Brunel as a Hardware Development Engineer focused on the fossil fuel extraction industry, where innovation and changing the world are part of the daily culture. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing existing products, systems, and processes, measuring and testing electronic circuits, and supporting PCBA manufacturing with a focus on cost reduction and quality. You will also develop analog and digital hardware, build test environments, qualify components, and collaborate with external suppliers and internal departments. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field, with several years of experience in hardware development, preferably in energy or conveying technology. Familiarity with automation technology, control electronics, and CAD tools is essential, along with a strong analytical mindset and good communication skills.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in hardware development
  • Experience in the energy or conveying technology sector is ideal
  • Experience with CAD programs and schematic design

  • Experience with challenges and requirements in fossil fuel extraction
