Job Summary
The Max Delbrück Center and the HEIBRiDS program are seeking highly motivated PhD candidates to join an interdisciplinary research environment in Berlin. In this role, you will conduct independent research in data science, focusing on areas such as machine learning, deep learning, explainable AI, and mathematical modeling. You will work with complex datasets across diverse domains including molecular medicine, geosciences, and astronomy, collaborating with leading Helmholtz centers and partner universities. Day-to-day tasks involve developing advanced data methodologies, interpreting complex results, and publishing your findings in scientific journals. This position is ideal for graduates with a strong background in quantitative disciplines who are eager to contribute to pioneering research.
