Job Summary

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in materials testing or laboratory work, seeking an immediate start in Birkenfeld. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and conducting various material tests, including the preparation of weld assemblies for microscopic examination, cutting welds, and creating polished samples. A key part of the role involves utilizing a measuring microscope to analyze and evaluate data from samples, ensuring compliance with customer-specific standards and specifications. Additionally, the position requires the creation of simple programs for tensile and compression tests, performing these tests, and conducting torque and strength investigations. Meticulous documentation and the creation of test reports for relevant departments are essential. The role also includes the important task of maintaining and cleaning operational equipment according to guidelines. This is a full-time, temporary position until the end of 2025, offering an attractive hourly wage and a supportive team environment.
