Job Summary

As a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician at our Jülich facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of high-tech components. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing, evaluating, and documenting non-destructive tests using methods such as visual testing (VT), radiographic testing (RTF/RTD), leak testing (LT), and penetrant testing (PT). You will specialize in radiographic CR technology with imaging plates, conduct visual inspections, and prepare metallographic sections. This position involves international travel for on-site assembly and testing projects. We are looking for a skilled professional with a background in metalworking and relevant NDT certifications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical environment, values safety standards, and is comfortable working in a two-shift rotation. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a metalworker or equivalent qualification; NDT certifications (Level 1 or 2 according to DIN EN ISO 9712) are strongly preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) and its applications
  • Professional experience as a metalworker or equivalent trade
  • Experience with SNT-TC-1A standards for the ASME sector is an advantage
  • Experience with international assembly and site work is required
