Job Summary

The Staatsgalerie Stuttgart is seeking an IT Specialist to serve as the technical backbone for its digital operations. In this role, you will manage the museum's network, Windows, and Linux server environments, including Active Directory administration. You will act as the primary interface between internal needs and external service providers, such as BITBW, while overseeing the full hardware and software lifecycle. A key part of your daily work involves designing future-proof IT architectures, maintaining clear documentation, and providing 1st and 2nd-level support to colleagues. This position is ideal for an organized, service-oriented professional who wants to apply their technical expertise in a unique cultural environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT qualification (University degree or vocational training) with a focus on system integration or infrastructure.

Experience

  • Professional experience in network planning and administration of Windows and Linux environments
  • Professional experience in IT infrastructure design and maintenance
  • Experience in IT project management involving external service providers is desirable
