Job Summary

As the Head of Plant Engineering, you will lead the strategic and operational management of complex energy infrastructure projects in Kassel. You will oversee projects ranging from €250k to €10m, focusing on high, medium, and low-voltage systems, including substations and cable construction. Your day-to-day involves managing a team of approximately 30 employees across planning, project management, and site supervision, while ensuring strict adherence to budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations. You will also manage client relationships and provide technical consulting. This role is ideal for an experienced leader looking to shape energy infrastructure in a stable, large-scale corporate environment. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering (Electrical, Industrial, or Civil Engineering) OR completed vocational training in electrical engineering with a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician certification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as a project manager in the relevant field of energy infrastructure or plant engineering.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and organizational tasks.
  • Experience in technical and commercial project controlling.
  • Experience in managing complex projects with budgets up to €10 million.
